The Friends of Chapman’s Green is a small volunteer group, so we’re keen to work with others to achieve our aims.

Our partners

We work in partnership with local charity Inspirit Training who are taking on the lease for the pavilion with the Friends’ support, enabling them to use it as a base for their services whilst also helping us find ways to open up the building for wider community as we develop the old bowling green into a community meadow and flexible space for small events.

We work closely with the Parks and Open Spaces Team at Haringey Council, supporting them to improve the park and shape its future. Their funding pot for Friends groups has been valuable in enabling us to host our community events and buy materials to paint the pavilion.

We are official partners of Grow N22, a local community interest company which exists to transform unlikely, disused and neglected spaces into vibrant community gardens and growing spaces made for and by local people. We are very grateful to Luke and friends for their help and advice so far.

We have been beneficiaries of the amazing Good Gym team, who run around Haringey doing good deeds whilst exercising!

We have big ambitions for Chapman’s Green and we’re going to need financial help to achieve them. From refurbishing the pavilion to redesigning the old bowling green, there will be lots to do and very little that the council itself will be able to fund.
